Laivu Street and laivu By-street, Northern – western part f the city

19th century. The street was connected - with coastal sawmills and shipyard. Some time street not named. Later, everything from the bridge to the end - called Worft Strasse. In the Soviet year it was renamed into Dange Street, and later - in Dane Street. Transverse street up is called the Laivu by-street.
