Apkasu Street, Northern, western part of the city

This is the old street of the former „Mazoji Vitė“ district. XIX century In the first half it was called Haff Strasse (Marios), because it was near the lagoon. The twentieth century In the beginning it is called Szhanzen Stasse, because there is a production facility nearby - a chance. In Lithuanian plans it is called Apkasų street name. When the area entered the closed maritime trading area, the street and the name disappeared.
