In 1923 - 1928 a bibliographer Ansas Bruozis (1876 - 1928) worked there
In 1925 - 1926 a governor of Klaipeda county and a poet Jonas Zilius-Jonila (1870 - 1932), worked there
In 1935 - 1939 a writer Ignas Seinius (1889 - 1959) worked there

A brick two-storeyed building with a cellar and a garret (former villa-residence belonged to a wealthy merchant-industrialist from England Mae Lean, later it became a property of a banker Alexander) was built in the first half of the 19^th century. In 1905 it was reconstructed in the Jugend style, the premises for the private bank were arranged. In 1923 some works of reconstruction were done. It was restored in 2000 - 2001. At the present time there is a bank located in the building.
