Building S335, Historical part of the city
5 Liepu St.

Architectural value
Built in the 2nd half of the 18th c.
Reconstructed in the 2nd half of the 19th c.

A two-storeyed building of simple construction with a cellar and a gable roof has moderate facades and covered gates to the yard. The building is valued because it is one of the few buildings built in the 18th century that survived. Initially it was used as a cook shop but in the first half of the 20th century it was used for the rent. In the 1929 and 1950 it was reconstructed. It was overhauled into apartments. The building was restored in 2000 - 2001.
