The planning of the quarter where houses No 3,4 and 5 of Tomo Street are located is typical of merchant quarters of Klaipeda: houses face the main (Turgaus) Street, while industrial buildings are located by the side (Tomo) Street. The entrance to the yard is from the side street. The industrial buildings were meant for storing goods.
The buildings in Tomo Street make up an engaging ensemble of blocked buildings. The building No.5 of Tomo Street has an expressive silhouette decorated by a weathercock and a pediment. The building No. 7 of Tomo Street has a half-storey. The buildings have the inner yards.
The major repairs were made in the house No. 3 of Tomo Street. It was adjusted for living. The ceilings, the stairwell, the roof and windows were changed; therefore, the house lost its original look.
