Sportininku Street, Northern – western part of the city

Planned in the 19th century, It was the street of Zandvreis village. In the 19th century – Mittel –Vidurine (Midle) Street. In the 20th century on the first half, named Feit Street – Veito Street. In the 20th century on the second half, near the street, a shelter for the elderly was built. The street was called Veite before the Soviet year, when it was rename in Sportininkų Street.
