S. Neries Street, Northern – western part of the city

The street name includes the former two streets: Donelaicio (Parko) Street and Railway Station. XIX century in the first half, called Park Strasse (Park Street). The 20th century in the first half, Lithuanians in Parko street started to called Donelaitis street. Railway Station It was planned about 1875 when the station was built. It was called this name before the Second World War. In the Soviet year both streets were named after S. Neries Street. Salome Neris - Bučinskaitė - Bučienė (1904-1945), People's poet of the Lithuanian TSR, has not lived in Klaipėda.
