In 2000 gallery was created by
The Open Society Fund Lithuania, which supported the project
"Virtual gallery in Art library". It presents artists of Klaipėda region, who belong to applied arts, painting and graphic sections.
In 2005 sculpture section was added to this gallery.
In 2007 folk art section was created by
The Culture and Sport Support Fund of the Republic of Lithuania, which supported the project
"Folk art and artistic articles of Klaipėda region". Its purpose is to preserve and perpetuate folk art of our region and convey
it as cultural heritage to future generations.
